I would agree, as I found the story more polished and complete. Here is another book to look for Blade of the Immortal: Legend of the Sword demon. I'm almost finished and it's a very good read.

[Premature News]Mardock Scramble Anime Project Resumed?
Hayashibara Megumi hinted that an anime project resumed and it'll be announced in the summer. She said "The key word is ... cards(?)". "Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi" also mentioned some project was going on with Mardock series.

@pdf4
I've read all the volumes and purchased all the DVDs. I think reading the novels first makes it easier to understand the story of the movies.

there seems to be a good anime movie adaptations of the novel.
I need some info, if anyone has read the novel please contact me!

I just need to know if I should go ahead and watch the anime or hold it and read the novel first (when i will learn japanese)

I posted Light Novel Sales Ranking Top 82 from 1979 to 2008 to the manga forum.

Tsuyosa007 | Oct 17, 2008 9:01 PM
I think thats a wonderful idea! If your up to the work more power to you!!! It's such a lost that they dont accept light novels without anime/manga ties...

dtshyk | Oct 10, 2008 2:25 AM
I happened to know that MAL data base only accepts light novels which are adapted to anime or manga. So my entry of a light novel "DDD" by Nasu Kinoko was deleted. Here is the discussion between me and Faust.

So I'm wondering if I can post information of the light novels which don't meet MAL DB criteria here in this club and reserve them for the future submission.

@Tsuyosa007
Here are something new.
Tanigawa Nagaru resumed "Gakkou wo Deyou!" after four years of blank.
The new episode of "Gakkou wo Deyou" was published on Sep 27 in Dengeki Bunko Magazine Extra Issue. The last volume was published in 2004.
"Suzumiya Haruhi no Kyougaku" was supposed to be published in Jun 2007, but it obviously gets suspended.

Hellsing Manga ended
 Hellsing manga came to the grand finale on Sep 30. Hirano Kouta will start a new series from early next year.
