Dear all,ISML is currently asking for submission of avatars to be used during the voting. The history has shown that the quality of avatar is very important to how well a character does in saimoe events, since those without adequate information about the characters in the match tends to vote by how well they liked the picture, the avatar, that was on the voting page. If you would like Madoka, Homura, or any other girls you like to do well in the moe tournament, having the best possible avatar for them is absolutely crucial. In order to help Homura or any anime character of your choice, please consider submitting some avatars for them so they might have the best avatar possible which may attract voters to them. Thanks to all of your help, Akemi Homura finished 12th, Kaname Madoka 30th, Sakura Kyouko 33rd, and Tomoe Mami 56th in the ISML nominations. In addition, Akaza Akari finished 31st and Toshinō Kyōko finished 53rd. Sadly, Miki Sayaka fell 2 nominations short of making the cut. While they didn't finish in top 10, since this is a open nomination for thousands of characters, these results aren't bad. For more details please check out http://www.internationalsaimoe.com/statistics/nomination/In ISML, despite that it is a yearlong marathon, what really is important is how strong a start they get off at, as good start will draw in even more supporters while bad start can make your character lose the much needed supporters. If all of you help out on Feb. 3rd when the preliminary stage starts, all the girls will have good chance of getting into good start and end up winning many many more matches till the end of this year. Ok, guys, one little thing i wanted tho share with you all. This weekend me and Jonijohn went to yet another anime convention. Guess what we found? Many many Madoka Magica cosplayers. We found a group cosplaying as the 5 + a Madokami. It was awesome!!!!! The photos should be here soonAlso, that group entered the cosplay contest, and they won 1st place! Their perfomance was funny as hell! The basis of it was: they claimed their popularity was going down and started saying ideas to get on the spotlight again. We felt like we should pay homage to them. So we shall leve here the moment we thought was the best in the entire performance. The Sayaka cosplayer said this:  ...while she got some panties out of nowhere! |

Just wanted to let you guys know what i'm up too. Recently i introduced myself to the world of AMV making, I am a huge Dream Theater fan, and whenever i hear the song "This Dying Soul" i imedeatly made a connection of the song with Madoka MagicaSo i decided "Hell, i'm going to make a AMV". And i did it. It is quite simple, since it's technically the first one i ever made. I had alot of work making it nontheless. But i also had the same amount of fun. @Mikurey Yeah, but I forgot to make a picture of it. I only have seen them in the Puella Magi Discussion Round on the Animagic 2012. Kalafina was also there, the producer of Madoka and his translater. They have answered the questions during the discussion round. I also got a poster where Kalafina and the producer of Puella Magi has signed :)Greetings Cyan |

@ Mikurey : The girl has a nice cosplay indeed :) You are a lucky man xP In germany we also have a anime convention called Animagic x (x stands for the year, e.g. Animagic 2012). There was also a group of five girls cosplaying the magical girls of Puella Magi xPI was cosplaying Heiwajima Shizuo (Durarara), I can post a picture of it, if you would like to see it . So yesterday i went to a Anime convention here in Portugal. I've been to many ones, so i need to be honest when i say i was not expecting anything out of the ordinary in terms of cosplays. Until this:THIS! Btw, i'm the guy on the right xD I was really, really happy when i took the photo with her. |

Anyone else as eager about the MS:MM movies as I am? But also somewhat "scared" that the new content is just more "milking the cow", which could lead to some negativity for the series...Guess we'll wait and see. Stay strong, and believe in the great goddess! |
