Please remember to vote for Akemi Homura in upcoming ISML matches, which starts about two days from now. If you check ISML history, almost all the character who appeared in playoff visited us back in screen 2 to 3 years later in form of sequel season, movie, or OVA. Good performance in events like ISML may slightly help people in anime industry take a gamble with those characters again. Man, I stayed up to 3am for the results. Totally worth it. I might have hated most of the results, but Homura (and Kurisu) advancing single-handedly made this the best news ever.Also, maglor, I just had to say, but I really appreciate your efforts in campaining for Homura. Nice job you've been doing with that^^ |

Victory!!! Homura managed to win her 2013 ISML prelim match and will now compete in the regular season. All this is possible because of your help. Our battle isn't over, since ISML is like a year-long marathon. Yet, unlike a marathon, it is extremely important to start off in full speed, since the early regular season results shape the perception of the character's popularity and pretty much determine their future. If you want Madoka Magica girls to get the full benefit of being part of ISML, please remember to vote for Homura on April 14th, the day ISML regular season starts. No matter what they say about her chances, if she manage to win the first 3 matches of regular season, her haters will scatter like leaves in strong wind, and Homura can make the playoffs. I would like to thank all of you for Homura's victory today in the 1st round of final phase of ISML preliminary. Sadly all the other Puella Magi lost, but they still put up respectable fights because of your support. About 11 hours from now, the final round of votes of 2013 ISML prelim will start. With a victory here, Homura can advance to the regular season and also claim the veteran status needed to be assigned to ISML Stella division in next year. However, if we lose this match, the 2000 Madoka Magica Haters will laugh at us forever, calling the girls overrated and many other things. You can easily see from today's regional support level maps (http://internationalsaimoe.com/statistics/preliminary/) and time graphs ( for example - http://archive.internationalsaimoe.com/visuals/charts/2013/Chart_p13-2.gif ) that there are thousands of MMM haters sharpening their knives to destroy Homura. Kanade won regular season on 2011 and Mikoto won regular season on 2012, so despite the results in the Elimination Period differing, that's still pretty much "the same winners". Just look at the top 16 of every year and you'll see at least half of it stays unchanged.Either way, I still faithfully vote in each round, simply because I love this kind of stats and stuff, and like voting for my favorite characters. (I actually couldn't care less about moe.) |

Although they still has to go through two more matches to reach regular season, they manage to attainrather favorable grouping for the start of the last preliminary Phase. This does not mean Madoka Magica fans can relax, because there is thousands of Anti-Madoka Magica voters who would love to see them falter.
