I hope they won´t. Though the Vita really could use some good games, since as it is now there really are only a few vita exclusives, which are mentionworthy like Gravity Rush... Really looked forward to the handheld itself, but the games just suck |

The last good rpg i played by Square Enix would have had to been Final Fantasy 12 for the PS2. great storyline..tons of weapons and unique items... loved the gambit system too! and tons of gameplay on it as well. really liked the battle system they used too! no cutscenes shifting to battle! (except for major bosses and espers) Next RPG on my list is Fallout 4. whenever thats out. as for Japanese style rpgs.. i know of a golf one that i like... Pangya. dont have much time for mmo's so i stick to the free to play more casual ones. |

Don´t know about Playstation having the best games in this Generation, but I think this Generation was kind of a downfall anyway. Casualisation, Stagnation and for me specially the extreme downfall trend of good JRPG´s ( FF was a big pile of... you know). I really do hope we get some good old-school JRPGs ala FF9/FFX, Lost Odyssey or maybe a Grandia :O At least the new tech demo from square enix looks quite good, though I dont expect anything from them anymore... |
