I'm not sure if this blog is still... functional?Anyway, Classi9 is a really nice musical manga. Kingyosou features a lot of taiko drums performances. Crayon Days is a manga about art majors (I personally didn't like it but it's set in the arts section of a university) Kaleido Star is about acrobats/actors. Hibike! Euphonium is a two-seasons anime about a high school brass band. Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, if it needs any introduction, is a musical anime. Shirobako is about creating anime. K-ON is about a light music club. I wish the anime/manga relations lists on the side could be updated u.u Lists with links are very convenient. |

Shiori Amaya from A Town Where You Live is the representative manga artist within the manga. She even gets the main characters to help her out in some of the chapters. |

Any chance this club can be revived? There are a bunch of manga and anime about characters who draw, make manga, write music. Well, I guess you should add NANA and paradise Kiss, both manga and anime.They are definitely al about artistic skills; like music or designing. |
