Information

Saya no Uta (沙耶の唄, Saya no Uta? lit. Saya's Song) is a visual novel by Nitroplus with horror elements.

Some fans consider the plot to be Lovecraftian. Although direct references to the Cthulhu mythos are minimal, the dark, eerie atmosphere is reminiscent of his works. Nitroplus is also known for the production of the heavily Mythos-inspired Demonbane series.

Many plotlines of Saya no Uta are similar to the manga Phoenix - Resurrection, specifically the life of Robita. At one point of the dialog, the main character explicitly references these similarities.

I can see that happening, most likely from someone who hasn't played it. Probably Fox News. Saya no Uta doesn't promote paedophilia: if anything it promotes bestiality.

only heard of Togainu no Chi before, the others look really interessting too and Kikokugai is probably a must. I really like Urobuchi Gen's story writing, since he made not only Saya no Uta but also wrote for Madoka, Fate/Zero and Psycho pass which are all good :) so I'll be watching that Equilibrium movie and try out the novels. Thank you ^^

and yeah, I should really learn japanese. It would help me quite alot x)
