I see CC more as Lelouch's ally/accomplice than as a lover. Kallen... She is more of a friend and teammate. I don't see any romance happening between them. When Shirley was mentally and emotionally hurt by Mao, Lelouch went insane. However, when something bad happened to CC or Kallen, Lelouch did not express as much feelings for them as he did to Shirley.
In the manga, when Shirley met up with Lelouch the next day after the whole Mao incident, she asked him if the pictures where of the person he like. Lelouch said "Yes. She was someone very important. She was always beside me. A good friend. But I lost her."
We can get out of the minority though. ^-^ Please correct me if my memory fails, but I don't remember Lulu every crying over Kallen or C.C....
Granted, neither one died, but he also didn't do anything particularly nice in an attempt to make them happy, either. ^_-
you know, I am a little fan of Luluc.c. and lulukallen,
but in the end, the only one the can be is Shirley.
C.C. and lulu is more like "crime partners", and Kallen doesn't love lulu, she loves Zero.
the only one who really loved him, until the end is shirley. and it was to only real love.
