Alternative Titles Ef ~ tale of melodies/Ef ~ tale of memories second season Information This is the second season to the beautiful Ef - a tale of memories (however it is only peripherally related to the events which transpire in the first series). It consists of two story arcs, one following the male protagonist Shuichi Kuze and the other following the events concerning Yu Himura, the other male protagonist. Both are affected by the two main female protagonists, Yuuko Amamiya attached to Yu Himura whilst Mizuki Hayama becomes a large part of Shuichi Kuze's life. It is produced by studio SHAFT (the same producers as the first series). It is a dramatic portrayal of romance within the slice-of-life of different protagonists aimed at over 13 year olds.
