Plot:
A year has passed since "The Black Rebellion" and the remaining Black Knights have vanished into the shadows. Lelouch, having lost his memories continues to live a "normal" life. On one such normal day Lelouch skips class to gamble on his chess play however it leads to a battle between the Black knights and the current Governor of Area 11. Here he encounters CC and learns who he really is, he is Zero.



Continuing on his quest to change the world, much is lost, bringing him into solitude. However once you have stepped the path of carnage you cannot return. For the sake of Nunnally, everyone, and tommorow, Lelouch initiates his final plan, Zero Requiem. After being stabbed by Suzaku (Zero), the world unites in peace. However, lelouch, now "dead" lives on with CC for he has obtained the code from his father.

There are many mysteries regarding Lelouch's current status, but we firmly believe that he is alive due to the following reasons:


1)When nunnally touched lelouch she was able to see his past memories, such as lelouch did in the first series when he touch CC while she was mind raping suzaku ;p

Well lookie here, lelouch was able to see CC's memories just by touching her, pretty similar to nunally touching him eh?




2) Back in the world of C, Lelouch matured his geass, and "killed" a person with immortality, his father. This probably transferred his CODE to lelouch for once one has a mature geass they gain the power to get immortality.

In episode 15 Charles said "Defeat me with the power of Kings, and you shall surpass the power of Kings" He defeated charles with the power of the kings (geass) and surpassed it, got immortality.



Yeah see the CODE on his hand? It totally looks like it got chopped off...transferal of the CODE?

3) No way CC would smile if Lelouch was dead, she loved him, and he was supposed to make her smile. If he died she'd return to that lonesome chick who just wants it all to end. In the entire anime you see a repeated saying of, "youre my"..."im your"...yeah, stuff like that. Its called love folks.


4)Throughout the entire series sunrise tries to negotiate nunnally with cranes.
-She began making them in the first season
-In the R2 intro she is seen with a crane flying a rainbow
-In some episode in r2 lelouch is seen playing chess with himself and a crane lying on the chess board.
-At the end there is a crane on the carriage that CC is in
-There isnt a reason for CC to carry a crane really...and if you note its position, it isnt even close to her is far ahead near the driver
-yeah its totally lelouch, and its what reminds him of nunally


5) CC couldnt have been speaking with lelouch in the end because
-You cannot speak to the dead unless you are in the world of C, for example as charles did when clovis died
-CC could only speak to Marianna because her geass allowed her to. She had to become dormant in Anya's body to do so, as stated in R2 ep 21.
