Curious. The new GitS SAC manga Kodansha eluded to wasn't ani-manga, but actual new manga by different authors:

I kinda figured it would be. If they're rereleasing it just because of the upcoming movie, it makes sense they'd try to make it more accessible to non-manga readers. Still, that sucks.

Anyone look at the character list for GitS lately? It's really grown. Even Proto's on now!

Picked up the new english edition of GITS. Was very surprised that it was the censored and flipped version.

I'm looking forward to Shyamalan's Last Airbender just because the animated series is so good. I have seen nothing of Cameron's Avatar except screenshots. Hopefully seeing the actual trailer will change my view point.
