Plot Summary: Detroit Metal City (DMC) is a quickly rising independent Death Metal band. They garner fame by performing wild live shows and writing songs filled with hate, violence, and rape. The band is fronted by Sōichi Negishi who takes on the stage name Krauser II. On stage he is a wild-unchained beast. Off-stage he is a tranquil, tender-loving person who enjoys Swedish Pop music. He hates himself as Krauser and his two personalities collide making his private life very difficult.

Well theres only 2 or 3 songs that are mediocre, the rest are actually listen-to-able outside of the show

True that. But I wish they would record as awesome music as the manga makes it out to be. Most of the stuff just sounds mediocre at best when put in to actual sound.

I don't think the music is really what the show is about. It's just a vehicle for the comedy.

I would classify it has experimental metal, but I think they didn't make it Death metal because in japan death metal isn't that popular and it could drive people away, so they had to make it metal but up to a point that the general public would like, it was kind of a downer hearing the ost, whilst reading the manga I have always imagined it would sound something like Necrophagist or The faceless or maybe something like Death, Morbid Angel or Obituary, but I still enjoy the OST.

I hate having moral cakes fed to me and the fact that it is about Death Metal there shouldn't be any morale at all to begin with.
