Artsy

Information

For some reason I don't understand, "artsy" is (right after "interesting") one of my favourite words. After joining other groups, I realized that none of them provides an extensive list or discussion platform for anime that are rather outside of mainstream without necessarily being 'weird'.

It's difficult to define the word, but I suppose "artsy" is what "indie" is to music or film and the shows qualified as artsy put an emphasis on animation as an art form.

The anime relations list is just a beginning - of course, more suggestions of what could fit into this description would be very welcome.

Hello! Your list of what is considered artsy, is my kind of anime. i enjoy the mainstream as well, but my heart lies with the ones that are "hidden gems" like Kaiba, Mind Game, etc. I may have some to add to your list but I will ask first. Glad to join!
