Born a human, she became a youkai magician through training. She is the neighbor to Marisa Kirisame, sharing a love/hate relationship -- they get into many fights, but really, are pretty close to each other. Many rare visitors are scared off by her house which has a large amount of dolls in it. Alice is primarily a loner though she does team up with Marisa on some occasions. She always carries around her dolls Shanghai and Hourai. Unlike Marisa, she hates winning by using sheer overwhelming power (preferring to use strategy) and will hold back even if it means losing. Apparently she is known among humans for doing doll performances at festivals. Most of her dolls are made by her and they do the household chores, but since Alice controls them, it doesn't make it much easier. She puts off a strong attitude and it shown to be uncaring of others, but at heart, she is somewhat of a coward. Alice is obsessed with magic.
