The Purpose of the club:
The purpose of this club is to simply get to know each other here on MAL much more than we do now. This club promotes a family oriented feel; something more than just knowing someone online. Get to know the actual person behind the computer. :)
This is how the club works:
You create your very own "questions" thread in which all other members will ask you various questions about yourself, and you answer them. Then you just go around to everyone else's threads and ask questions about them. Easy as pie, right? Mind you, you don't have to create your own thread if you don't want to reveal any sort of information about yourself, nor should you feel obligated to answer EVERY question if you decide to make one. If you're uncomfortable, you don't have to answer. You may join just to ask people questions if you want.
There's also a General Questions thread where you can ask all of the club members any general questions. You can get to it
here. Feel free to ask everyone questions here, but please keep questions for individual members strictly to their own threads. Thank you. :)
As this club grows and there are threads that are bound to be bumped back; this may be disheartening for some people, but don't worry, the club officers and I will be sure to ask questions for those who are never bumped up. And you can help by asking the new members and those who are forever lost in the abyss that is "the last page" questions as well.
Now for some rules...
Rules
- If you want to ask multiple people the same question, post it in the general questions thread.
- Wait until a person has answered your question before you ask them another.
- Try not to ask questions that may make the person feel uncomfortable.
- Try not to repeat the same questions as other people in the same thread.
- No flaming.
- Do not bump your own questions thread if you are the last person to post. PM an admin if you want your thread bumped and it hasn't moved for a week.
- Don't ask non-officers to ask you questions in your thread.
- Don't ask questions directed at individual members in the General Questions thread.
Rules are subject to change as I'm too lazy to finish thinking up this crap and want to create the club right now.
So let's get to it! Make your own thread and/or start asking some questions! :D
