You're right, he is a hypocrite. It's one thing if he wrote his own name down after cleansing the world, meaning he realized that he's no better than anyone else he killed. But no, he has to appoint himself as a frickin' god. Who gives him the right to decide who lives and who dies? Who put him above the law?

I agree with you 100%, ArnoldK!
Some people are just crazy.
In my opinion, Kira is a massive hypocrite too.
He says 'the world is rotten' and decides to kill bad people to make the world a better place, but then for his own selfish purposes, he does exactly what he has been saying is wrong. He starts killing innocent people!!

Man, that is just going too far. But if the guys dad had done nothing wrong then wouldn't that just show how bad Kira really is??

Frankly, I'm surprised and shocked that so many fans actually support Kira.

And not in an "I just think he's a cool character" kind of way, which I understand. Like some people might think Freddy Krueger is cool, but don't endorse his actions in real life, you know?

I mean people who wish Kira was real, and would support him in his insane quest if he actually existed.

One guy actually said that if his father (who he has no problem with) tried to stop Kira, he would be in support of Kira killing his father.
