WELCOME TO THE CLUB!

WE NOW HAVE A MANGAKA DATABASE AND THE ABILITY TO ADD FAVORITE MANGAKA TO OUR PROFILE! THE NEW MANGAKA DATABASE HAS BEEN COMBINED WITH THE EXISTING VOICE ACTORS DATABASE TO BECOME THE "PEOPLE" DATABASE!

IT'S CELEBRATION TIME!!!

Things needed to be done for "People":

1) Hunt down pictures of mangaka for database.
2) Possibly separate the rankings of voice actors and mangaka.

You are now able to add up to 7 people to your Favorite People list!

I renamed the club too "Save our Doujinshi!"
This is a problem, doujins are still materials that manga-ka worked hard on.

I am unsure if the Mods are able to see the filenames of uploaded images but I name my files like: Yoshitomi-Portrait.png

I also have another idea, they could add the "Image Description" text input on the People picture upload page. Like the one when you upload club pictures. =D

There needs to be a better way of uploading self-portraits. Such as a tag or a check box. The problem is that it is hard to tell the difference between self-portraits or random pics of characters from their manga.

Yes the issue comes in that the people doing the people data base are not all manga people. To people who read manga the drawings seem like second nature. If you don't read manga all that often the person may not know any better.
