Pairing terminology:
OTP-One True Pairing and that says everything
Crack Pairing-A pairing that is theoretically impossible,either because the characters don't know each other or they hate each other.A couple made for the delight of the fangirlfans.
Canon Pairings-A couple that was several times hinted,or is just very plausible.
Yaoi/Shonen-ai-Boys love,for example Naruto x Sasuke.
Yuri/Shojo-ai-Girls love,for example TenTen x Hinata
Love Triangle-Three persons as a couple,often two boys fighting for one girl.
