This event is taking place during the Solstice of Summer (~ 19, 20, 21, 22 or 23 of June). One may share these with my pals as a fellow amateur. How ? Just submit pic of all delicacies shot altogether to me or one of the officers ! Of course, anyone is free to join club but one is only part of family once his love of ales and jerk sea products is proven...

Rules and other notes:

- Don't incite to drunkenness intoxication. We won't be glib about that. We like to be party, be it for Solstice or any other time, nonetheless we strongly encourage to drink responsibly, for the sake of beer itself. One violating this rule will be instantly banned.
- Anything goes in terms of comment but harmful troll attacking individuals privacy and whatnot.
You know the melody.
- We reserve the right to refuse one member not pleasing us. This is a pretty rare occurence, though.
- This group is dissident to Old-School Anime Club. Most of us hang around there often and consider it as a friendly place, but we tend to disagree about end year of old-style animation. It's not 1994, as the last celluloid shows were likely released in 2005.
- In some cases, we might enforce applicable laws of FSC's Hall of Shame.

- Either you like old-school animation, dried fish or beer or you don't belong in here. Is that clear ?

Iristella, reading about what kind of fish you can get is like reading outside from some Mediterranian encyclopedia! :) Some of them I've never heard of!
I'm so curious about how they taste. :D

There's a river next to my home. It's called "la Seine" I believe. Sometimes, police crews extirpate stollen cars outta its waters. That crane game show one how it's risky to eat anything coming from it. That's too bad, as it's filled with catfishs and breams :/

@Dumuzi: you're absolutely right about the fruity beer - you can't drink it by barrels, lol. But now and then, it's good and refreshing. I'm not a pedantic beer chaser as you either ,so if it says "beer" on the label, it's good enough for me. :P

To be honest i dont remember the brand cause i have the attention span and memory of a goldfish. I ll keep an eye for it next time i go there.

As for the fishes depends on the location. If i go to corinth we go for boops, saurels, sparus erythrinus, using a line only without the rod. If I go to my fathers island were my uncle is a professional fisherman by using nets and a variety of methods and means we can go for a wider variety of species reaching to "topes". I havent gone to visit my uncle for ages though and I kinda miss that. XD

Anw in Greece spearfishing and fishing in general is quite common though it is consider a "manly" hobby.
