Thanks to the infamous 'Graduation of Blood' incident, War breaks out between Humans and The Abnorms, people born with abilities surpassing that of normal comprehension.
At first, It seemed hopeless. Modern human weaponry stood little chance against the extraordinary capabilities of the abnorms. In a desperate search for aid, Governments turn toward Trident, the worlds largest PMC and weaponry enterprise. They fund billions into Trident's research, hoping for a way to even the impossible odds.
Initially, it bears little fruit, as countless experiments fail. However, they eventually manage to succeed in three breakthroughs.
The first is the Erieten, Semi-Organic Chips implanted directly into a persons spine. This grants them greater speed, strength and heightened reflexes, allowing them to fight on par with Abnorms. The procedure is extremely painful though, and usually leaves some sort of after-effect on the users health.
The second breakthrough are the Genpanzert, Mechanical Creatures and armored suits. They have incredible destructive power, and are controlled by a human operator. This is either done through a Cockpit for a telepathic link. The sheer force of will to control these behemoths typically leave mental scarring.
And Lastly, the Kunstich, artificial humanoid weapons. With speed and destructive power in equal measure, and capable of flight and advanced tactics, they are easily mankinds greatest asset.
The war wages on, as both sides struggle for dominance. Where will you stand?
