How to destroy hope in the eyes of young spectators. Wow this show was really in the kids time slot back in the days ? What a huge lack of common sense. Moral of the story ? Never let a director as he wish, especially after a 4 years depression.

truly one of the most emo, horrible shows of all time, this is my all time hated show, and its not even that good of art, gundam wing and g gundam were around in that time and they were better

Citizen Kane and Neon Genesis Evangelion are totally different..

Citizen Kane was just some overrated pretentious movie, maybe I didn't like it becuz it was an old movie.. but I do like Hitchcock-movies .. and those are from the same time I guess (and they're f*cking brilliant)...

BUT NGE is great though :o. A great disturbing anime..Which shouldn't be compared to Citizen Kane..
Too bad nobody loved Shinji-kun .. buuuhuuuu..
