Soon after, the Brood War expansion pack was released. Starcraft is a phenomenal hit that has sold almost ten million copies world wide as of 31 May 2007.
Nearly Korea's national sport, Starcraft has reached levels of competitive play unrivaled by other games in the RTS genre. Reknowned for its perfect balance, strategic depth and high level of skill to play, Starcraft remains one of the greatest games of all time. Whether or not you love it for its acheivement in games development or for childhood memories of nuking 1000 hydras with a couple clicks, you can express your love for the game by joining Myanimelist's Starcraft fanclub.
