"The August issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Ikki magazine has announced on Friday that Natsume Ono is ending her House of Five Leaves (Sarai-ya Goyō) manga in the next issue on July 24."

Just saw Natsume One at her interview and signing at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival, her first visit to North America. Learned a number of things that were new (to me at least), including her new manga series, which is also set in the Edo period. She said that she felt the studio did a wonderful job animating House of Five Leaves and that she felt they were quite faithful to her conception of the characters. If you live in or near Toronto, she will be doing another singing tomorrow. She seemed very nice and quite patient with the questions and those of us in the singing line.
