Fans of any series can be like that, though. Not just K-ON. Sure, the 'moe' genre appeals most to those kind of people, but it's not exclusive to K-ON. That's more like disliking moefag types than K-ON specifically, isn't it. Honestly it's people's own choice what they do with their lives, so I don't care much about such things-- I dislike K-ON because it was boring and pointless to me, fan behavior is a different subject altogether.
