Actually the end of X would be ready, Clamp said. They have issues with publishing it, though, because Asuka thinks its violence is too graphic. That's what they say, at least. I wouldn't trust their words too much. Personally, I think it's just an excuse. If it's really too bloody for a magazine, then publish it straight in a tankobon (volume). They simply don't care about X, nor their "old" fans, anymore. Apparently new series sell better.

maybe they didn't have ideas anymore? if that the case it's better to stop it that to ruin it at the end.

I couldn't care less about Clamp's other manga, namely Gohou Drug, TRC or Holic.
Starting new series when they still have to finish the older ones... Clamp are ridiculous.

wasn't 9 years? lol but i said that after knowing that they continued Gohou Drug after exactly 9 years too
also there is another manga but not by CLAMP, people thought it finished already 10 years ago but now it's ongoing again!
it's Sennen no Yuki just in case you want to know
so look at the bright side <3
