<div style="text-align: center;"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/sGkY8.jpg" /><!--center--></div> <div style="text-align: center;"><u><strong>General Information</strong></u><!--center--></div> Rosenkreuzstilette, often abbreviate as RKS is a Mega Man like doujin game developed by the the doujin group erka:es. It was first released in December 2007 on Comiket 73, and was for most one of the absolute highlights of the 73th Comiket. Not only in Japan but also in the western world it gained a remarkable degree of popularity (within the doujin scene) and eventually got an English translation patch created by Darkside Translations and Zeppy. Originally erka:es planned to release the sequel of RKS, Rosenkreuzstilette ~Freudenstachel~, in August 2009 on Comiket 76, but it was delayed in the end on Comiket 77 which was just held a few weeks ago in Japan. However erka:es announced that due to unfortunate circumstances they couldn't participate on this Comiket and therefore it was once again delayed on the upcoming Comiket 78, which will be held around August 2010. After countless other delays it was finally released in Autum 2012...still can't believe it that it's finally out XD! Furthermore at 8th December a mod for RKS Freudnestachel was released which is called "Rosenkreuzstilette ~Freudenstachel~ Sterblich". <div style="text-align: center;"><strong><u>Story of RKS 1</strong></u><!--center--></div> Thousand years ago there were humans who poses magical powers, which were called Magi. However as time past fewer and fewer people were born with the ability to use magic. In the recent history the few remaining Magis are being hated and chased by the Holy Empire and the Orthodox Church, and thus the few Magis lived in constant fear of being captured and ultimately killed. However one day, a great Magus named Rosenkreuz together with his 8 pupils stood up and led them in a long and cruel war against the Empire and Church, which will be later known as the Holy War. In the end Rosenkreuz lost his life, however he achieved his dream and the Empire and Church stopped hunting down Magis, and even accepted them now in their Military service. Thus the group RKS, Rosenkreuzstilette: Blades of the Rose Cross was created. Decades after the Holy War, Spiritia Rosenberg, an instructor of the Imperial Army returns home, after a 6 months long training in the Black Forest, which is the home of fairy. However when she reached the headquarters of RKS and met up with Iris Sepperin, the daughter of Michael Sepperin the leader of RKS, she was kidnapped by a Dragon in front of her eyes. Seconds later the Castle, and the Black Forest in the near are being attacked and are engulfed in fire. To Spiritias surprise this attack is led by Freudia Neuwahl, who used to be her best friend among RKS. Freudia told that RKS is rebelling on order of Michael Sepperin against the Empire and Chruch now. Taken down Freudias offer to join the rebellion Spiritia faces now her old friends and comrades of RKS as enemies. <div style="text-align: center;"><strong><u>Story of RKS 2</strong></u><!--center--></div> Several months have passed since the events of Rosenkreuzstilette. The Orthodox Church has begun witch-hunting Magi while a mysterious group of Dark Magi, captained by a woman named Pamela Arwig, forms an organization known as the Schwarzkreuz and abducts Spiritia Rosenberg. It's up to Freudia Neuwahl, along with the help of her new fairy friend, Strudel, to get to the bottom of the mystery. If they can get past their friends in the RKS and their latest member, Dolis Warmind of the RKS's Special Ops Division first.
