This club was made to love Mai and all her moeness.
We love Mai in all her glory and we worship the holy ground she walks on. Please be sure to make your daily pilgrimage and support her in whatever feats you can.
This club was created in opposition to the original Mai club on MAL, which seems to cease to exist now.

Club Constitution
1. Mai is Moe. Feel free to spread your love of her moe to the ends of the earth.
2. Mai is one of the main characters of Kanon. Love for all the other characters IS allowed.
3. Mai is one of the most superior characters in all of Anime.
4. Mai is allowed to date at any age she chooses to, and with anyone she wants.
5. Any dates of significance in relation to Mai will be celebrated whole-heartedly. If you know any, tell me XD
6. Your personal information is safe here.
7. Tributes to Mai are accepted wholeheartedly but are not required.
8. Members are expected to allot 1% of their normal sleeping time to staring in awe at Mai. You may spend your money on anything you wish, as oatmeal is disgusting crap. Once you join, you will be expected to stay, as leaving Mai will make her sad T_T
9. Officers are expected to love Mai to some extent. To qualify, you must have contributed to the club in some way (uploaded a certain amount of pictures, given links to some awesome Mai related things, created userbar/club banner, etc.)
10. Mai is not to be harmed in any way.

Mahoro has a similar "look" although she is definitely not the strong silent type, or maybe its because I really like the long dark haired smouldering looks. I was reading elsewhere that elements of Yuki are shared with Mai (or vice versa). But both are excellent characters and Mai has a much bigger appetite.
Well, nobody can deny that Mai is a rather generic character... all of Key's characters are generic.
Yuki and Mai share the 'silent moe' and 'goal oriented' personalities. (The latter being one of my favourite parts of Mai and the reason why Ayanami Rei used to be on my favourites before getting pushed off by other interesting characters :p)
I haven't seen Mahoromatic though, so I'm not sure if that's just another silent moe archetype or if they're similar for other reasons...
All Hail the great demon slayer Mai. Odd, she reminds me of Mahoro from Mahoromatic and Yuki from Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Although she is definitely breathtaking and in a league of her own.
There are two arenas that are special. One is for the big winners (I guess?) and another is for random recent characters that weren't in time for the nominations for this year's ISML.
You may be thinking of these...
Or maybe I'm completely wrong since, as I said, I've no clue what is going on with isml. D:
Speaking of, I hope it isn't some loser's round cause that doesn't sound good. If it is, there are some characters that don't fit in the losers round so maybe it's not or maybe they got unlucky too?
