I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying Knights of Sidonia. I wrote a bit about it. It plays with lots of cliches but it's just done so well. I love the setting and Nihei's architectural skill is still there; it conveys a great sense of space. I'm not too far into it but I'm really enjoying it.

Guys, for anyone who isn't doing so, you may want to read Sidonia no Kishi.

Well, I'm not aware of anything lately worth reporting besides the fact that Sidonia no Kishi is still ongoing. Nihei's done a number of other series since 2003, but none of the later works are really on the same level as his initial masterpiece, BLAME!.

Incidentally, I still need volumes 1, 2, and 10 to complete my collection.

This club is not "inactive", it's actually fairly faithful to the source material. Killy walked for years at a time without anything actually happening. Let's celebrate his sacrifices with a month of silence.
