Cryogenically Frozen after a shuttle crash
Turned into a lab rat by the military
Ship was in an accident after being attacked
Or their whole damn city can't remember a thing

For whatever reason, they have lost their memory, and are often trying to search for it again.

This guy has amnesia just like girls have periods. In anime he had it for a 2 times, in all Sonic Universe even more.
Sometimes he remembers only his dead friend, but sometimes his memory is clean.

Adam and Eve from Needless don't remember their childhood. Eve can't remember anyone's name either but that was a preexisting condition. ;-)

There are probably quite a few characters that are missing from the list. I'm not completely familiar with many anime not named Cowboy Bebop. lol. The other club members have been helping me out a bunch by suggesting characters! I missed Chii, though. Probably because I still haven't finished Chobits.
I'll add her :)

Damn right this is a pet peeve of mine. Joined this club as soon as I saw it. :P

I'm rather surprised that Chii from Chobits isn't on the list; should be an obvious character. But sure, her case is a bit special, since her memories do lie hidden in her mind somewhere...
