Otomen is a story about Asuka, who in school he is the most popular boy in school, he is tall, masculine, cool, and the captain of his kendo team, he is also good karate. but behide all that coolness and popularity he really like doing girly things such as sewing, baking, cooking, knitting, and also likes cute things and most of all reading shoujo manga his fav manga is called Love Chick.
Till one day when Asuka was young his father left hisfamily since the the father always wanted to be a woman because of this Asuka mother grew very ill and forced Asuka to be masucline, even though he likes girly things he has no intention of becoming a woman.
Then one day a new girl in school, Ryo Mikozuka, was being bulled by two guy and Asuka step in and defended her. Later on he falls in love with her and very nervous of confessing to her.
Then Juta Tachibana befriended Asuka and Ryo, and helps Asuka with his relationship wtih Ryo the reason why is beacuase Juta is a mangaka under the penname Jewel Sachihana who's the author of Asuka favorite manga Love Chick, and which he bases Asuka and Ryo relationship so he can continue his manga.
