No arguments. This club is not only for Wiccans and Pagans but it is also an informational club. If you don't agree with certain aspects say so and leave it at that. If you don't think you can leave it then don't bother saying anything.

What is Paganism?
Paganism has been broadly defined as anyone involved in any religious act, practice, or ceremony which is not Christian.Others define it as religions outside of Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism, while some simply define it as being without a religion. As Christianity progressed into the present age, a pagan became referred to anyone not being a Christian, and paganism denoted a non-Christian belief or religion. If the religion did not fit into the Judeo-Christian-Islamic or Eastern mold, then one practicing that religion was said to be involved in paganism. The term, pagan, is derived from the Latin word, paganus, which means a country dweller. The pagan usually has a belief in many gods (polytheistic), but only one is chosen as the one to worship which represents the chief god and supreme godhead. (©AllAboutSpirituality.org)

What is Wicca?
Wicca is an earth based religion that is a sect of Paganism. Wiccan's respect the earth and all living creatures (so yeah most of us are pro environment). Wiccan's don't believe in evil so therefore we don't believe in the Christian Devil/Satan, and thus don't believe in Hell. We do however believe in the Summerland. It's our version of heaven, only that we don't ultimately stay there and are never reincarnated. Wiccan's believe in reincarnation. Some Wiccan's who can't put the belief that there isn't evil would say there is neutrality in the world since most things are not only all good or all evil/bad they are both. In Wicca you can create your own path on what YOU want to believe not what a book and others say you have to believe. You can worship one god/goddess or many, or you can choose with Wiccan tradition you want to commit to as well but most Wiccan's are eclectic.(Club Creators Definition)

Who is Wiccan?
ANYONE can be a Wiccan. Yes this can mean that the person in charge of the register at your local fastfood place can be one or the person at the bank teller.

Why is Wicca and Paganism so little known?
Unlike other religions we do not proselytize. Meaning we don't go around knocking on doors telling people about our faith and that they should join because it's better then others. We realize that everyone has their own spiritual beliefs so therefore show respect by not forcing them to become Wiccan.

Do Wiccan's and Pagan's have rights?
Yes especially if you live in the US. As for other countries I'm not sure so you can look it up if you are curious.

Decided to know my rights as a Wiccan and found this helpful Pagan/Wiccan Rights As stated before Paganism is recognized as a religion in the US. If your not sure how to go about finding out about Pagan rights in your country take a look at the link and read you might get a few ideas on where to start.

Are all Wiccan's part of a Coven?
No not all Wiccan's are part of a Coven. Many prefer to practice their religion solitary. Others find that it's more comfortable to join a Coven. It all depends upon the person.

If you have a question feel free to ask it in the forum, comments, or another member. Don't be afraid to ask even if you think the question to be stupid. This club is about accurately informing people about Wicca. And if you believe your question can help settle doubts and or fears about Wicca please don't hesitate to ask it.Threads will be made with more info pertaining to Paganism and Wicca within the next few weeks.
