Tsugumi Ohba FC

A club for the mysterious writer and creator of Bakuman and Death Note

Tsugumi Ohba (大場 つぐみ Ōba Tsugumi) was born in Tokyo, Ohba's real identity (and gender) is a closely guarded secret.
There are many facts stated by the profile placed at the beginning of each Death Note manga volume, two being that Ohba collects teacups and develops manga plots while holding his/her knees on a chair (like L).
Some fans believe that Tsugumi Ohba is just a pen-name for Hiroshi Gamou although there is little to no evidence to support this.




Ohba has worked in collaboration with the artist Obata Takeshi on both Death Note and Bakuman.
