Magical Girl Task Force Club ~戦隊魔法少女サークル

This club is for people who love sentai styled magical girl anime and manga!
Confused? Let me explain!
If you are an anime fan I am sure you are familiar with "mahou shoujo" (magical girl) series. Well, among them you can find sentai magical girls.
Sentai literally means "fighting squadron" and in modern times it is used to refer to the "superhero team" genre of TV shows in Japan. (think: Power Rangers)
These shows typically involve a team of five or so people who are given the ability to transform into powerful warriors (each represented by a differnt color) that fight against evil. (you know, starting with the typical "monster of the week")
The most common example used for sentai magical girls is Sailor Moon. This is because Sailor Moon was actually the first mahou shoujo series to use sentai elements! (Sailor Moon's creator Naoko Takeuchi is a big fan of sentai shows)
As I am sure you know, Sailor Moon was a huge success and the formula has been used again many times to create more great anime and manga series.

June 2nd 2009~
WOW, I haven't updated the club since 2007! Well I stopped watching anime for a long time plus I have been very busy. There are probably some new series I've missed that need to be added. :( Hopefully I can get around to it but no promises. I just don't have a lot of time for anime anymore ;o;
Nov. 16th 2007~
Started the club today. Expect some nice graphics and more info added soon. I am not going to be doing much club advertising (if any!) so feel free to invite any friends you have that would enjoy this. :D
