He is loud, hot-headed and is not afraid to give his opinion. He is actually the legitimate son of the Nightray family, making him a step brother to both Gilbert and Vincent. He is always seen with Reo by his side. Elliot has a strong sense of pride and justice and believes his own opinion to be correct. Although this makes him seem arrogant, Ada Vessalius has said that he is kind and dependable at heart. He has a bad habit of forcing his opinion on others without hearing their reasons and doesn't see well with those that don't agree. However, whenever Elliot goes overboard or says something he shouldn't, Reo is always there to correct him. Despite his rashness, Elliot does speak words of wisdom. In fact, his straight-to-the-point personality has sparked a change of heart in Oz and made him face his own problems of the past. Although appearing to be a strong character, Elliot does have a weak side that he only shows to a few. He has bad dreams that resemble the Tragedy of Sabrie which make him restless and insecure as he does not know what they mean. Reo is the only one that knows about these dreams and takes care of him then. Being a member of the Nightray family, Elliot has a black sword encrusted with the family crest which he keeps in a case. He is also well rehearsed in music and can play a piano duet with Reo that is somewhat famous at Latowidge. He is also prejudiced against the Vessalius and thinks that they act arrogant because of Jack Vessalius heroism. Elliot first meets Oz at the library when they have an argument over the novel series "Holy Knight". Elliot asks Oz about his opinion of Edgar which happens to be Oz's favourite character. He proceeds to say that he hates that character and leaks a spoiler that Edgar dies (not knowing that Oz has missed 10 years worth of the series). Things go downhill from there as a mutual dislike develops. Elliot can't stand Oz's self sacrificing tendencies and says that by sacrificing yourself to save others you are causing those that are left behind pain and there's nothing good about that. This strikes a cord with Oz as it is how he's lived his life. Oz proceeds to defend himself and reveals feelings and thoughts he hasn't even told Gilbert. They eventually become friends although Elliot pushes Oz away on instinct after learning his name. When Oz asked about the song Eliot and Reo were playing (as he now knows Glen Baskerville wrote it), Elliot replied that he wrote it and it was named 'Lacie'. This has shocked Oz to the core as there is an obvious connection between the two. Recently, it was also revealed that Elliot has nightmares about standing in blood, surrounded by burning buildings and dying people.
