I honestly didn't enjoy the anime at all. They started years and years after all the characters had already been introduced, and stopped just as abruptly. Saorin is one of my favorite characters, but she acts like a bitch throughout the entire anime. Unless someone had read years and years worth of manga before-hand, they would have the wrong impression of her.

I'm totally on the Nitorin x Saorin fanboat. :D The anime just didn't capture the beauty of the manga. It was confusing and badly put together. Manga all the way for this one.

The Aoi Hana anime, on the otherhand, is just as much a masterpiece as the manga itself. Fumi-Chan x A-Chan forever!

Nice teaser. The HM anime will without question be my pick of the season whenever it comes out. The writing of the manga is practically unparalleled, and it's sure to get the same degree of delicacy that Aoi Hana got in production.

I don't have much impression on Aoi Hana but Hourou Musuko is masterpiece, her art is so simple yet expressive :heart:

The next volume of Hourou Musuko is going to be called "Bokutachi no ibasho", roughly "Our safe place"... wonder where she's taking the story next.

I like Aoi Hana but I *love* Hourou Musuko myself. I wish more of her stuff was scanlated. Darn... I'll have to wait until I know more Japanese to do it myself ;)
