Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch is a japanese Anime/Manga and it's about a Mermaid called Luchia she saves a boy from a ship when he falls down, drowning. She takes him to land and to save his life she gave him her most precious thing, her Pink pearl. After 6 years she swims back to the human world to search after her pearl. Without the pearl she can't sing and if she can't sing she is NOT an adult Mermaid. But it's not that easy when the evil Gaito appears with his helpers Luchia can't look for her pearl anymore. One day Luchia get's to now that Kaito is that boy she saved 6 years ago and then one of the enemies appears,Izuru is her name and she tries to catch kaito to get Luchias pearl. But kaito throws over the pearl to Luchia when she appears like a Mermaid. Now Luchia Whant to tell Kaito that she is the Mermaid, but Hanon the Aqua pearl princess tell's Luchia That if Luchia tell Kaito she is a Mermaid she turns into sea foam. He have to sort it out him self. Then a green Mermaid appears and when they are three Mermaids now it is getting easier but still Gaito and his Darklovers(helpers name) is against the Mermaids. Luchia have to find all the 7 mermaid and combinate their powers to awake the seagoddess Aquaregina-sama.

Luchia find more and more mermaids under the series like. Karen the purple mermaid , Noel the indigo mermaid, coco the yellow mermaid and sara the orange mermaid
