While not an anime I can't help to think a lot of folks here would be interested in Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble. The main character is a typical high school delinquent who finds himself on a school trip to Kyouto. Turns out though every school with a Bancho is there! The main character has to fight a Bancho from every prefecture in Japan to claim the top Bancho spot!

Ookami no Monshou - Wolf Guy: This manga is a manga about the layers of corruption found in the modern japanese school system, but its been delivered with a supernatural twist to it.
to top it all off its been written/drawn by the same team that brought us Akumetsu! :D

the cover is pretty misleading for ningen kyokoi, hes pretty much the only one that looks like that the rest are pretty well drawn

BB Project, yes (I want to read it). 13, of course (read it great humor). Ningen Kyokoi Katsuo, ok (cover art seems a little weird). But Doushirou de Gozaru? Hmm... I'm reading it too - well as much of the scanalatiion that is out - But I thought Doshiro only fought one delinquent; then the delinquent changed for the better. Was there more to it then that?

Doushirou de Gozaru - about the main character moving back to japan after living with his father in america only problem is he seems to have a rather distorted understanding of Japanese society which puts him up against the local deliquent population, written by Hiroyuki Nishimori (Cheeky Angel, Ocha ni Gosu, Kyou Kara Ore Wa!!)

Ningen Kyokoi Katsuo - Weak below average guy wanting to change his circumstances after seeing a friend beaten by a group of thugs seeks the help of an acquaintance in learning to brawl, which throws his life upside down.
