EVA is way too situational and only useful in fighting against Angels. AT field ain't going to change that. Maybe if it was the mass produced EVA series.

Gundam is way bigger and it can also fight in space AND it's battery least longer than 5 minutes......but i personally an eva would win

Honestly though, while the Gundam has a advantage in being much smaller and maneuverable, as well as having no need for power cords and a longer operational time, it all comes down to whether or not it's weapons could penetrate the AT field, which we have no way of knowing.
Though seeing how At fields can easily withstand even the powerful N1 nukes and virtually all conventional weaponry, it seems rather unlikely. The Gundam would need some sort of super powered laser cannon, like the sniper used in NGE, but from all we've seen, normal Gundam beam weaponry output is no where near such a level.
And if it can't break the field, the EVA would tear it to shreds, doubly so if it goes berserk.

I actually remember having the magazine (maybe 7-10 years ago) that this picture was in. It was accompanied by a short battle scenario that must have been thought up by the editors of the magazine and if memory serves me correctly the EVA won in their minds.

Wing Zero like every second Gundam has a bad ass beam cannon. Also, Heero can see the future with Zero and Shinji would just cry. If it were the Shinji from Super Robot Wars, EVA would beat Zero with an arm or less.

An Evangelion would win hands down. It has an AT Field that can only be penetrated by another and is like 200ft tall. A Gundam is only 60ft tall and doesn't have an AT Field, just one kick from the Eva and the Gundam is down

No, an Eva unit is roughly 40 meters tall.
But ya, TBR would pawn the Eva. Plus, the Gundams flight abilities, plus it's high speed maneuverability thwarts Eva's height advantage.

Whatever the height, I think Heero would win with the Wing Zero. Shinji would go and have a mental breakdown before he could try any attack against Heero.

Gundams can easily destroy the EVA's hands down. They are the best mechs of all as a matter of fact. The EVA I believe is not 40 meters tall I can see 20 but not 40. If it was 40 then that's exactly 131.2 feet tall, but if it is 20 (way more reasonable considering the average height for a Gundam is 56-62 feet, it would be 65.6 feet.

Fantastic pic, sadly the scale of the pic is off. An eva is at least 40 meters tall while Wing Zero is about 17 meters tall. But still an alsome pic.

I remember seeing that picture a few years ago.
It wasn't until later I read that both Evangelion and Gundam Wing were broadcast during the same broadcast years and they were actually competing for ratings.
