First appearing in File 6: "The Prohibited Games," Yasuhara is the student president of Ryokuryou High, where strange phenomena have been escalating to a dangerous level. An upbeat student with a strong outlook on life, Yasuhara joins the SPR team by helping with research. His nickname is "Echigoya," after an old shopkeeper who is friendly in appearance, but a shrewd businessman beneath the mask.
