Chic Jefferson (チック) The son of a clockmaker, as a child he was given to a young Luck Gandor in exchange of the $2500 loan his father couldn't pay off. He also has a younger brother named Tock, whom his father kept and escaped from the city with.Chic has an obsession with scissors and uses them as torturing devices for the Gandor brothers' mafia buisness. Although his name in the anime series is credited as Chic in both English and Japanese, it's suggested from other translations that his name should be "Tick," to go along with the clock theme of his family.
