Macao Conbolt's son, Romeo was frequently bullied for having a father in the Fairy Tail Guild so Romeo begged his father to take an "amazing job" to make him look good. After Macao didn't return for a week, Romeo assumed the worst and begged Makarov to send him some help. After he refused, Natsu Dragneel left to find him alongside Happy and Lucy Heartfilia. When they brought him back, Romeo was extremely happy to see his father alive.
After the Tenrou Island arc and the 7 year time skip, Romeo is shown to have become a skilled fire magic user like his dad and Natsu, and even starts dressing somewhat like Natsu. Romeo can use many kinds of fire magic, such as Purple Fire which can stick to objects, Blue Fire which has cold properties, Yellow Fire which apparently smells really bad, Rainbow Fire which is all the colors combined and then explodes, Purple Flare which is a variation of Purple Fire that cannot be extinguished by water or wind, and Purple Net which takes the form of ropes.
