Anime Relations: Tokyo Magnitude 8.0
Is Yuuki dead, alive, undead?!

...that is the question. ahh, I both love and hate how this series is messing with our minds, if it really is.

this is where dreams meet reality:

Anime Relations: Cross Game
Cross Game is <333 (I wonder how many times I'll say that...)

and by far, the most powerful episodes out of the series for me remains to be episode 1 and episode 5. Episode 5 had a lot of "golden moments", and having gone through various experience throughout this journey of life has certainly painted how I see things in this anime in a different light, in a GREAT way. I'm more able to relate to the characters now more than ever, and I am comforted at the thought that growing up/maturing has done this to me.

Of course it's not enough that I babble about it this way, so I have prepared this post especially to let people see how Cross Game MOVES me, all for the love of Cross Game, and also life.

Anime Relations: Cross Game
Ah Cross Game, how I love thee~

Words would fail me if I were to describe how awesome this show is. At one glance, it would seem as if there's nothing special about it, no fancy plot, no amnesiac plot device, ambitious storyline... but that's what makes it great. A tale of the mundane, portrayed with emotional honesty that magically transforms the ordinary to something very extraordinary.

There were times in the past where I'd get so delusional and I'd start proclaiming a series to be THE BESTEST THING EVAR (*cough* Skip Beat *cough*), and despite how it might seem as if I'm delusional with the way I can shout to the world "CROSS GAME IS OMFG AWESOME, LONG LIVE ADACHI! LOVE <3" right now, I can confidently say that I am not. Cross Game is awesome, and if you have a heart, you will appreciate this show. Let it into your heart, thug your heartstrings, grow on you, and make you see that what I'm saying here is nothing but the truth.

It's definitely a heartful series, with characters that are so endearing it makes you wanna wish you were _in_ the series and join in the fun, befriend the characters or whatnot.

Adachi fans you might not be at this point, but this might just be your 'gateway to Adachi's world'.

Ahhh, and I have to start posting about Cross Game in our blog.. spread the Adachi <333

Anime Relations: Sengoku BASARA
While people are proclaiming Sengoku Basara to be so OMFG GARR, Seleria and I can't seem to agree. Not sure if it's got something to do with the 'GAR standards of women' or whatsoever gender bias possibly involved here, or that we're reading into the "Oyakata-sama! Yukimura!! x9000" PASSIONATE NAME CALLING too much. But then it's not only that... there's Yukimura's choice of cheesy words, the whole slurry(?)-ish over-the-top-passionate way of speaking, the Clash of Blue and Red!, the army dancing in the OP, Kenshin's gayness (if I didn't know any better I'd say he's a woman in a man's clothing).

This calls for a case study!

Anime Relations: Kure-nai
(Guess it won't hurt to pimp some blog post here or whatever, to get this info out to as many people as much as possible)

I finally got the urge to continue on with this 'deep frying' I've been doing for Kure-nai, basically pointing out the differences between the anime and novel (roughly), so people would know what they're missing out on. I still don't feel all that confident about translating it, so this summarizing is as much as I can do, at least for now...

Part 1 goes here, will continue writing MOAR until I reach the end of the 1st volume of the novel, basically what the anime covered.
