With the 100th completed gap closed last week, my standards for watching new shows are getting higher. That said, this season seems to keep me interested on a variety of shows, and i have only checked out a small amount yet.

Toradora (3ep); two great main characters, Kitano + Louise, and the feeling is just perfect for a romcom. looking forward for more! 8/10
Kannagi (3ep); in the same category as the above, good vibes, well executed and moe moe moe! anyway, its good, im sold. 8/10
Kyou no Go no Ni (1ep); i couldn't finish the first episode, not funny and pretty ugly and these are the only things that matter with these kind of series. 4/10
To Aru Majutsu no Index (3ep); eye-candy! great animation! beautiful fluent battle sequences! but in the end it didn't interest me at all. Well this is just Shana again: its good enough, so i will watch this, but it's lacking something. maybe its the lack of emotion and it being just a sequence of cool and cute. 6/10
Tales of the Abyss (1ep); unnatural way of telling a story, unnatural conversations, wait a minute, i'm watching a game! i'm sure this caters the game lovers, but as a tv series it fails miserably. well at least it looks good, so the fans of the game will be having weekly orgasms. 4/10
Kuro Shitsuji (1ep); very promising, mysterious dark comedy, a bit sinister too, and creepy. it made me laugh, sit at the tip of my chair, made me curious, intrigued and wanting more.. 8/10
Shikabane Hime (2ep); not sure yet, it was a bit boring at first, but there was also an awesome villain and a kickass fight.2nd episode was already better and had a great atmosphere. i predict more stylish adrenaline action and colorless emo scenes, and hope the latter will be reduced to the necesarry minimum 7/10
Nodame Cantabile Paris (2ep); <3 can't describe how much i love this show! 9/10
Ga-Rei Zero (1ep); felt like a typical holywood action flick, with typical action movie music, characters and plot twist. the CG-monster was butt-ugly and there wasn't enough story to get me interested. mediocre, so i skip this one. 5/10
Casshern Sins (3ep); after getting used to the retro-design and the lesser first episode, i'm enthusiastic about Casshern. I like the animation, the fast pace action and the thought-provoking conversations. its a bit ergo proxy and a bit kaiba. 7/10
Kurozuka (2ep); compelling, totally absorbs all of my attention while watching, hot, treacherous and violent, but that's how sword fights should be. 9/10

stay tuned for updates

We're a month deep in the new anime season and im following more shows than ever before. This can either prove the quality of the spring shows or the quantity of my bored moments.

the one thats already finished
Bus Gamer, 3 episodes, they chose both to rush it and be boring slow at some points.
Together with the total open ending (or no ending), this seems like a stalemate of a potential good series. But its too messy in this 3 episode formula.

My former plan to watch list
Toshokan Sensou: I didnt get the critical view on media warfare and the highly intellectual plot based on it, which I hoped for. But Toshokan Sensou delivers a light sometimes funny show about the interactions and romances between the main characters. And it is really good at this.

Nijuu Mensou no Musume: The gentleman thief theme sets a nice overall environment and Chiko is a wonderful and promising character. After 3 episodes of mostly character introduction, i expect it to switch gears and add some excitement to the mix. Something about this show says its going to grow further to one of the seasons best.

Golgo 13: The first ep wasnt too good, but it picked up. Its very adult in the story build up, like these kind of political thrillers of Clancy or Ludlum. The dark gangster theme art suits well. Lets see what it will lead to.

Nabari no Ou: Naruto with style. Well, I like the style, the characters, the beautiful sketchy backgrounds. Its just not as exciting as it should be. I do like how the ninja world feels natural and how the fights are very fluent, but yea.. its missing something extra

Soul Eater: hearing alot about this show, i first picked up the manga. And i totally liked the art. And really, the anime's biggest quality is the art, which looks even better than the manga. The story isnt that special, but the characters have some nice quirks and secure lots of laughs. If the show manages to keep this crazy stimulating style, there will be 50 episodes of fun and fun.

Allison & Lillia: they started with a complete story arc in 4 episodes and this was a total anti-climax. Thinking about this, they may have done this on purpose. cause while the story is being pushed aside, the attention is set on the main characters. So its all about Allison! Allison is great to watch and keeps me interested when everything else is average. <333

And the others
Chi's Sweet Home is the cutest most adorable thing ever. I tried one 3minute episode and was sold from the very start. The opening song is to cool! I got my whole family addicted to the daily adventures of Chi. Every cat lover is destined to love this, everyone else too ^_^

Kure-nai: I picked it up after hearing how great it is, and uhm it is. I really have trouble to write about this show, i just love how they talk, how they act. Its my favourite at the moment.

Kanokon: the massive popularity of this one surprised me, so i decided to join in. At first I liked the total over the top ecchi scenes and the no-nonsense-this show has only one purpose-approach. But at the third episode i already got bored of it, missing a story line, disliking the art (the male lead looks like he's 10 years old). So I decided to drop it.

Im really not an expert in this field, but while i was looking around for the upcoming spring series i made my own watch list.

Bus Gamer: its a 3 episode OVA which looks kinda exciting and fast-paced. and 3 episodes! might as well watch it.
Toshokan Sensou: the very interesting premise of information warfare (librarians vs the government) should result in an intelligent plot. I have high hopes for this.
Nijuu Menzou Musume: Its a female detective/thief! and i like her design too. as a mystery/detective series this will stand or fall with a good story line.
Golgo 13: Japan's original badass. Spring's antidote for all the cheesy romances around there
Nabari no Ou: Most promising shounen series around. Nice art. Ninja's are allways a plus.

Im not gonna watch Geass 2 unless i hear its better than the first season. Soul Eater and Allison&Lillia are my bench players in case one of the above fails me.I will watch those 2 probably anyway, but i have to find the time.

I think my brain unconsciently skipped it over, but i just noticed the blog options in the left menubar. Intrigued by this behaviour of my brain I shall make use of this new acquired option and launch my first blog.

Sadly there is no other thing going on in my head except this whole bloggy option thing, so Ill run quickly away from here.
