Anime Relations: Juuni Kokuki

So guess who's gonna waste a shitload of money on The Twelve Kingdoms novel series because the anime was canceled for unfathomable reasons!?

Too bad only the first two volumes have been released in the U.S. with the schedule for a new book to be released every year. So count it up: that's roughly 5 more years that I am going to have to wait before I am free from this holy horror.

I've been marathoning Juuni Kokuki for the past week and cried when I reached the last episode only to realize that it left off before finishing the last arc. If I wasn't so deep in my funk, I would've vented all of my awe and frustration out in a proper entry. But nooo~

Guess who fails at life?

In other news, I've hit a writer's block with no cure in sight. So I'm just going to put the main blog aside and enjoy my summer. If there are any updates at all they will be on my MAL blog because I like the post-it-note quality of this stress-free/ expectations-free kind of blogging. And because this seems to be the MUTHA OF ALL WRITER'S BLOCK, I figured I might as well slowly start building my way back up to posting those essay-length entries on Coffee Spoons.
