Hey everyone! My name is Lauren, I'm known from place to place as "atheistium" so use either :-)
I am a big anime & manga fan as well as a passionate gamer. I work for a website called Destructoid.com which is an independent video game blog & community. I really enjoy it there and hope that if anyone here is a video game fanatic, feel free to visit. They also have a sister site called Japanator.com which is an anime/otaku culture blog!

On a side note, I suppose I should post what I am currently watching. I've just finished Lucky*Star, and really enjoyed it. Which ended up in me pre-ordering some rather adorable figurines! I'm a huge Konata fan, not only because she has the most adorable voice but also because she reminds me of ..well.. myself! A bit erratic and crazy, games freak and anime freak.
Haha! I've just started watching Shakugan no Shana II. So far I'm not sure what to make of it. I've gotten really into more movie themed anime (such as Paprika and Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo) - So it's a nice refresh to get back into series and such. SnSII is alright, just no wow factor yet. I'm sure it'll come. I'm also downloading Ghost Hound and Hataraki Man. GH is a new one but I've seen some of HM before and really enjoyed it. I am also watching Minami-ke and Naruto. So busy!
Anywa I hope I make some good friends here! I'll be heading to the British anime Convension AMECON, if any of you are going it'll be nice to see you!
