Since I've been on this site for almost a year, I figured I should do a blog =D *does anyone actually read these lol xD* so yay first blog ^^

Anyways, I've been into anime pretty much my whole life (starting off with dubbed animes like Sailor Moon, Digimon, and Cardcaptors) but after those, I stopped for a while. I got back into anime around 2004-05 (when Naruto was inflicted on me, and then later Bleach xD)

So I decided to make a list of animes *in the order I watched them in, not in order of favourites* of my top animes and the ones that left a lasting impression on me ^^ enjoy =DD *hopefully this can inflict some of my obsessions on others >D*

2005~

Samurai Champloo My first anime after I got back into anime that left a lasting impression on me, and is still one of my favourites. Good characters, hilarious, and stylistically awesome ^^

Trigun

2006~

Mai-HiME

Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu ... LOL 8D

Speed Grapher Really good anime. Good story and an interesting look at how society can succumb to greed and money

Fullmetal Alchemist I love this anime. It has everything I look for; it gets you emotionally involved, its funny, its cute, and the story is really good

2007~

Ouran High School Host Club LOVE!!! lovelovelove xD that is all. xD

Spirited Away gorgeous film.

Gravitation My first BL anime xD which lead me into the dark side of anime *ehem.. yaoi xD*

Rurouni Kenshin: Tsuiokuhen / Rurouni Kenshin: Seisouhen Amazing. I loved the series, but the OVAs got to me far more. I bawled after the last OVA T___T *refused to watch it again - to sad ><;;*

2008~

Ghost Hunt My first favourite of 2008 *watched the most this year xD* and the series that got me into the horror genre animes ^^ I thought it'd be a regular anime, not to boring, but not something I'd re-watch. But I really loved this series. Every arc had a good story, the characters were well developed, some arcs were even emotional. Never thought an anime can actually scare me o.0 *was clutching my pillow the whole time during my 2 day marathon @___@ the Blood Soaked Maze was beyond terrifying T___T*

Mononoke I got to this one through a recommendation from Ghost Hunt *actually the recommendation was for the series that goes before it, Ayakashi Japanese Classic Horror* which lead to Mononoke. Really well done series. The art style looks great, and the lead character is awesome ^^

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni I also found Higurashi through a recommendation from Ghost Hunt. Another anime that scared me shitless o.0 Rena walking down the street with a hatchet x___X;;; anyways, don't think I've ever witnessed something so disturbing in my life =DD *that's probably not true lol..* but awesome anime if you can get over the really moe characters *they annoyed me to at first* the anime goes really fast from the seemingly cutesy, harem type animes, to a dark horror one. *I recommend you watch the second season - the first season doesn't really explain much about why everything happened*

Nodame Cantabile Really cute anime xD I love the music ones~ :3

Honey and Clover II At first i hated the first season of Honey and Clover *was on the verge of dropping it* Hagu annoyed me so much o.0;; but I continued and grew to really like it. The second season I like a lot better. Really good anime, and really good character interaction and development

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann LOVEEE xD i loved it from the second I started watching it ^^ *I love those rare animes that grab you like that xD* stylistically awesome, great characters, great story!! Awesome!!

Kino's Journey Not my usually type of anime, but I really liked it. I love how blunt and detached the protagonist Kino is, and especially like how this anime examines human nature, at its best and its worst

Monster I watched the first episode ages ago, then put it on hold for a long time until I decided to continue it again. This anime completely blew me away. Amazing story. The only word that could really describe it is perfection. By far, Johan is the best anime villain. If you want a more serious and mature anime, I definately recommend this one

Welcome to the NHK I think this was the last anime of last year o.0 *memory loss lol* anyways, not really my type of anime, I usually hate the otaku ones, and I've seen better ones last year that I didn't put on this list, but this one kept me entertained. Its interesting how many different things the protagonist gets into xD

2009~ *so far..*

Paradise Kiss For some reason I think someone told me something bad about this anime a long time ago so I didn't plan to watch it o.0 Glad I did though. I loved it. Heart breaking ending though T___T; I recommend it to anyone who likes a more mature romance animes ^^

Detroit Metal City LOLLL. I never LOL'd so much during an anime ever xDDD A bit vulgar, a bit awkward - BUT GREAT!!

NANA Also avoided this one o.0 not sure why. But glad I watched it. Finished it today. This is one of my favourites ever. The characters are really good, as is the character interaction. The stories always stir you up emotionally, and overall, the anime is just really well written. love.
