Yo, Nobita-chan wasting time here again.
Right now, I'm having a qualifying exam going on. I'm in Lower Six now. So I'm apologise for my inactiveness.
I wanna talk about wrestling first. I read forums on WWE Universe. I have to agree that Raw is the weakest brand so far. I know why: the storyline is quite plain in my point of view. Come on. It's just Randy Orton and his so-called The Legacy against Triple H or John Cena or Batista. If Raw wants to go back to its best, they need to put something new like Jack Swagger holding the WWE Champion or something. If only Shawn Michaels was here. Look at Smackdown, they have a quite number of high-flyers and superstars that got great talents like Rey Mysterio and John Morrison. Look at ECW, they have quite number of fresh and bright future superstar. I suddenly become a big fan of Yoshi Tatsu of ECW brand. In my opinion, ECW > Smackdown > Raw > TNA. I wanna say it again: I hate TNA. That's right! I HATE TNA!!! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! Okay, that's enough.
By the way, xSyammim watched Tokimeki Memorial... I read the plot already. I'm sorry but I don't think the plot gained an interest on me. For me, it's just a generic high school romance story. If I have to watch any school romance anime, the plot must be unique like School Days or Clannad (should be no. 1 in top anime list).
I've just joined this club called Bruneian Otaku Club created by my good friend kazesuke. When I joined, I'm automatically became an admin for that club. Uuuuu~~~!!!!! I have a bad feeling about this! Uuu~~!!! Uuuuuuuu~~~~!!!!!
After qualifying is over, I'm planning to watch this anime entitled "Spice and Wolf". I heard that the main character name Holo is quite popular among here. I even voted her in International Saimoe League 2009.
Since qualifying started (i mean when school re-opens) I'm disappointed that our school's Co-Curricular Activities has been postponed, which means no anime club for me. T T Even the school funfair (scheduled in early August) has been postponed. T T I'm originally planned to watch Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince film but I have to scrap that. Influenza A H1N1 is to be blamed.
I think that's all I want to talk about. Wish me luck in my upcoming exam!
Nobita-chan out! ^^
"It's a Sony." - Akiba of Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens.
Yo, Nobita-chan is here.
According to the Wikipedia, 3rd July is a birthday date of Luchia Nanami (Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch) and Karin Hanazono (Kamichama Karin). Although a day late by the time of this post but Happy Birthday to both Luchia and Karin. ^^
I've just watched the first episode of Umineko no Naku Koro Ni. It was an okay episode. I found that Maria is quite annoying with her "uuuu..." stuff. I'm glad that her mom shut her up. I praised Yui Horie and Ami Koshimizu, who voiced Maria and Rosa respectively, for their performance in that episode.
From anime, I'll talk about wrestling (WWE). If someone ask me which of these shows (Raw, Smackdown, ECW) are my favourites, I would rather choose ECW because I prefer to see new talents who got potential to become one of the top performers in WWE. Personally, I'm not a fan of TNA.
Now to football (not the American one but the English one). I'm worried about Liverpool. They're about to lose some of great stars like Mascherano and Alonso. I hope they don't leave Anfield too soon.
Back to anime. I watched Shugo Chara and I like the voice of Amu Hinamori. Her seiyuu is Kanae Ito. I believe she's still new to the seiyuu industry. I was shocked that she's gonna have her role in the upcoming To Aru Kagaku no Railgun anime. I'm so excited and can hardly wait to watch the spinoff of To Aru Majutsu no Index, although Index maybe will not appear in the anime at all despite her lack of screentime in the original. Back to Shugo Chara, I have to finish the first season first to watch the Doki one. I love Amu. Her Amulet Diamond transformation is the best.
That's all for now. ^^
"Uuuuuuu~~~!!! Uuuuuuuuuuu~~~~~~!!!!!!!"
*slaps*
Now that's better. ^^
Nobita-chan is here again with my next blog.
It's been a while since I finished watching Clannad After Story. This anime produced by KyoAni could be one of the best anime ever! I even recommend it to my sister and she cried. She cried especially when
Nagisa dies in childbirth and the events leading to and until the True End
.
I agree with xSyamim who said that Nagisa is cute. However, I think that Nagisa could be the most cute mother in the anime since Karin from Kamichama Karin (trivially, both Karin and Nagisa are voiced by Mai Nakahara, my favourite seiyuu).
About K-On!, someone said that the anime more focuses on cuteness than the plot itself. I'm only half agree on that, but K-On! is actually a good anime to watch although it's not reaching the heights of Clannad and Haruhi. I actually planned of making a fanfiction about a mother-child storyline between Yui Hirasawa and her child but I think I don't want to talk about it. Not even you!
Right now, I'm watching Kannagi: Crazy Shrine Maidens. It was actually better than I thought would be. Like Nagi very much more than Zange.
What's next for me? I'm gonna have a good night sleep. -- zzzzz............
Finally Nobita-chan has come back to my own blog!
Sorry, folks. I'm a wrestling fan too.
But anyway, let's get on with the topic.
I just finished watching Kemeko DX. I gave it 6/10 (originally it was going to be 5.5/10 but I rounded it off to the whole number).
The character designs and the quality of animation is kind of good. No comment on that one.
Now the characters: besides Sanpeita, Fumiko (Sanpeita's mom) and M.M., I HATE THE REMAINING CHARACTERS! Since Seto no Hanayome, I hate the character who is a childhood friend to the main protagonist because that person is always trying to mess things up. In this case, Izumi (sorry but your big boobs doesn't impress me that much, that is except in one episode where... Whatever). Next, I hate Sanpeita's younger sister. She's my second most hated imouto after Mika Nogizaka (Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu). Next one is Kemeko, probably the most ugliest main character in this anime (of course there's another one similar to her). I prefer M.M. rather than her.
I felt sorry for Sanpeita for having his hard time but kudos to him. M.M., or known as Mei Mishima, is the most cute of all in this anime (There's one person said that Mei is better than Lala of To Love-Ru. I agree!). Sanpeita's mom is totally a milf. Enough said.
The seiyuus did a great job. It's been a while since I heard Chiwa Saito's voice and glad to hear Eri Kitamura in her manly voice again but I think Haruka Tomatsu did great as well.
Overall, the anime could have done better. There are many loose ends but then there's lot of anime ends with this kind of ending, right?
I'm sorry for my expression on the characters just now. No hard feelings.
That's all for now. Nobita-chan out. ^^
Right now, I'm watching K-On!. It is a good anime. As expected from KyoAni, their anime is always like one of the kind. Kinda like Yui, but compared to characters similar to her such as Tsukasa (Lucky Star) and Nagisa (Clannad), I like Nagisa more (She's something special).
I did watch some episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and Tears to Tiara (both are on Animax) but I'm quite busy or something since right now I'm in Lower Six. Yeah, both anime are worth to watch.
About the Saimoe tournament, I'm only vote my favourites, such as Tsukasa, Nagisa, Amu, Haruhi and Rena.
Nobita-chan out. ^^
Hi, Nobita-chan is here!
I've finished watching To Love-Ru. It turned out to be "yeah, yeah, another ecchi show".
One thing that I concerns about ecchi anime is that they tend to show girl's boobs and anything without driving the plot. To Love-Ru is no difference, especially the fact that they used their own storyline instead following the manga.
About the ending, I'm confused. I refuse to say anything about the ending. It's a spoiler anyway.
And I think I don't like Haruna's hairstyle. So ugly. (But there're some scenes that show Haruna without her hair clip on, which is simply better.)
Another low point of this story is the story seems pretty generic. It is not the first time that a forced marriage topic comes out (watch Seto no Hanayome) and also not the first time that an alien came from space and cause trouble (remember DearS?) and could be more.
The seiyus' performances manage to save this anime from such 'terribleness'. Haruka Tomatsu did a really great job voicing Lala as well as the others.
Overall, I doubt whether I could recommend this or not but I think for Haruka Tomatsu fans, yes. I would like to give it 7/10. There's more but never mind.
Nobita-chan out.
