Picked up some old school yesterday at Half Price Books:

Maison Ikkoku v. 2-3, 5, 7 (Japanese edition)
Lupin III v. 1-3

I'm not very good at keeping up with this, but anyway, here's the lovely batch of anime that showed up in the mail today (rocking Amazon sale for all of the R1 stuff):



I'm so stoked to have the first half of Sailor Moon Sailor Stars in my hands finally. Hurray to Toei for rereleasing the series the past couple of years at a price that isn't quite as outrageous as R2 DVDs usually are. Still hoping for it to get relicensed in North America, but for now, I'm plenty happy to have done my part with collecting R2s of the series (plus I have the first 4 seasons in R1). The second half will ship in a few weeks.

Went to Half Price Books and picked up the following:

Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne v. 1, 3-7 [figures that 2 is the one that's fully OOP]
Ceres v. 1-2, 4
Suppli v. 1
Millennium Snow v. 2

Added quite a few things to the collection this week. On Thursday, my Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood BD set 1 arrived, along with Hetalia DVD set 1.

Then today I decided to head to Half Price Books. Gold mine! Most importantly, I was able to pick up Princess Tutu DVD 1. I had the rest of the singles, as well as the brick release (the ugly one, not the newer one), but I had been hoping to get volume 1 someday so that I could get rid of the brick. Yay! Very content.

They had a bunch of Life available, but I wasn't quite fond enough of the series to buy all of those available, so I just got volume 3, which I needed next anyway. I'm hoping they might make it to clearance eventually--or I'll decide I like it well enough to pay $4/volume.

I also picked up Princes of Tennis 6 & 7 since they were only $1/volume. I'm sort of picking up the series hodge podge because I'm not a big fan, but I'm still curious enough to buy it when it's cheap.

After recently learning that the Monster manga appears to be going out of print, I snagged 7-10 (they didn't have 6, which I also needed.)

I was also able to finish up my Video Girl Ai collection by finding volumes 6-8 in excellent condition.

They also happened to have the first volume of The Last Uniform, something I was very curious about, so I snagged it. Not to mention volumes 4 and 5 of We Were There which looked practically brand new.

All of that for just $52.19. Sure, I've done better, but I'm quite pleased since it filled in quite a few gaps.

Stopped by another Half Price Book today and picked up a stack of out of print manga:

No, I didn't stop adding things to my collection for 2 years, I just neglected to ever post about them here. :)

Today we stopped by Half Price Books for the 20% off Labor Day Sale. I picked up a big stack of manga:

I'll go to the local HPB tomorrow to see if they've gotten anything new in stock (or put anything on clearance--love it when that happens.)

Edit: Just realized I already had volume 1 of Kitchen Princess. Figures!
