I hardly venture into sci-fi and mecha territory, but I've picked up Macross Frontier on a whim.

Ok, not really. I blame the recent Animation Festival Asia 2008. Hearing May'N live on stage made me wanna hear more of her in the anime.

5 eps later, I'm wanting more. Great songs, great action sequences and great characters. Looks like mecha might stand a chance after all. But I'm still not watching any Gundam though.
