Anime Relations: Bamboo Blade

It hasn't really. Though I can get blogging on again now('o' should be an 'a' imo...in blogging, are you thick or something, why in the word now?!) I've fallen in love with the opening and ending themes in Bamboo Blade, the opening in particular. I'm probably gonna watch episode 2 momentarily (for the themes mainly...) Bamboo Blade is just one of the many anime that I am going to start watching thanks the help of MAL and the folks on it.

I recently got some laptop RAM off amazon, 2GB of it, so now my top can run that little but faster. I can't help but want to get a decent pc though, for playing games. My dillema though is that I love saving money. 'Tis both my strength and weakness. And of course I'm having to buy manga weekly as well, which is about the only thing I spend money on. If anyone would like to donate an uber gaming pc then please do, the specs wouldn't bother me...as long as its got a quad core processor, 4GB of OC'd RAM, 3 Nvidia GTX8800 (whatever they are, cba with google) in Sli mode, a 1000W PSU and some nice water cooling. Not much to ask for. I suppose I could plea with monsiour Gates...hmmm, maybe I could be teh uber haxzor and haxz Gates, then go on amazon through his PC and order myself 1000 gaming pc's. It might just work!

So, onto British tv. You American don't know what your missing out on! You probably won't have heard of Harry Hill but he did show a very funny clip on his tv show (hh's tv burp) earlier today. On a show called the apprentice a women instead of saying 'I've felt like i've needed to spoon feed you all the time" said breast feed, I was lmao for the best part of 5 mins.

Back to MAL news now. I've decided upon my display pic and it should be good. It'll be partly done by jibun so it'll have my own personal touch (mainly 'cause I couldn't find any google pics...) More stuff to come at a later date.

Sayonara!

P.S could someone please give me some comments. I need to know if you like my blog or not so I can improve it!

April 2nd, 2008

Hey there blog reading fans. Time for my eagerly awaited second blog entry. The first one went down incredibly well, ok I got no comments on it but that does mean I got no critisicm also, and I like that.

Today in college i've done some Maths, (nothing too much to talk about) and some Biology which was dull but livened up by banter between me and Patrick.

One thing that did make the day more interesting though was I had to teach several maths failing year 11's some maths. I'm getting paid (1-up!) to do it so I needn't complain. It was amazing how rubbish they were at maths, 15/16 year olds who didn't know about 180 degrees in a triangle and 360 in four sided shapes. They were even struggling with addition and subtraction. Fortunately I'm a pretty good teacher (or at least my big headdedness says I am) so they got to grips with everything pretty fast. The best thing about it though is I got to skip psychology. (2-up! to me!)

Wednesday is the day I have my piano lessons so I had to catch the bus to town and then find and walk to the new location of the Yamaha Music School which is even further away now. If that wasn't bad enough, the bus stops had changed locations so I practically had to walk half the way home before I got to a bus stop. Even my uber toned legs can't stand up to that much punishment. I got news recently from the Music School that I would be playing the piano part to Bohemian Rhapsody in their annual concert, plus I have to play a solo, Clair De Lune...gulp!

I'm a decent pianist but I'm also a quite skilled guitar hero player. Ranked about 270th on expert on GH3. Yeah cower at my skills. COWER! I'm one of the few players who plays it keyboard style, which is part of the reason my rank is fairly high/low, however you want to look at it. If you wanna check it out, go to the scorehero.com forums and find my profile, names Zaraki.

So, what's so great about having a Saturday job you ask? No? Well, I'll tell you anyway. Insider knowledge. Printer cartridges are a ridiculously high price, generally between £12-40 and since pricing some cartridges up at the store I work at, I've finally realised just how over-priced they are. A £12 cartridge is bought from suppliers for about 60p and a £40 for about £2. Luckily though I get staff discounts if ever I want anything like DVD-RW's (about 10p each)!

Damn! Time to leave now. Unfortunatly I wasn't too random today so tomorrow will a random blog, just for my die hard fans. Sayonara!

So, first time writting a blog. It's going to be pretty random and non-sensical, so time to begin. Just finished a cajun chicken wrap and my coffee (a latte). Coffee is pretty new to me. I have about a teaspoon of coffee and 3 or 4 teaspoons of sugar. I don't really drink coffee for the taste, just to stay up a bit later. Let's face it, as a Brit, you just can't beat a cuppa tea anyway.

The wrap was ok but I'm not the biggest fan of tomatoes so I took those out. A bit of a rip-off at £2.30, but I didn't pay so I'm not too bothered. Practically the whole volume of the wrap is taken up by the bread, (which it of course should) but there's just not enough chicken.

One thing I really love since getting my laptop/internet connection is when playing halo you kill someone and they quit. It could just be because they don't like the level, or match type but then why would they pick the server when all the details are displayed?. Imo, the best matches don't have shields and don't involve sniper rifles. If you've ever used a halo sniper rifle you'll know how bad it is.

Right, well this is an anime/manga website so I might as well talk a bit about those. When I was younger the only anime I had watched was Pokemon and Digimon (Rock On). I only had sky for about a year when I was younger and spent most my time on Cartoon Network or watching the kick ass Robot Wars! Hypnodisc ftw! Later on though, my friend Patrick introduced me to Naruto and then thats where my anime watching started. Pretty obviously I started with the must watches Naruto, Bleach and the almighty Death Note. After that I just started watching anything that sounded good. Manga wise, all credit goes to me because I brought Patrick's attention towards manga AND thanks to my recommendation, he's reading Death Note among other manga . I think my first three volumes were Ai Yori Aoshii, Negima and Samurai Deeper Kyo.

Frankly I could come up with crap to talk about non-stop but you couldn't read it all in a lifetime. So until next time.
