Episode 18 totally ruined the show for me in terms of character development and likability. I don't know if I should chalk it up to poor script writing or just the story plot is so poorly used in that very dialogue heavy episode.
How could Rem be so blind and stupid? How could Subaru be so heartless and retarded? They make a nice couple in that regard. You don't spend 20 anime minutes talking to each other building up the confession only to be rejected in 10 seconds and then pretend everything is still cool and move on with the story. I don't root for Rem or Emilia or whoever else. It just seems extremely extremely stupid and a waste of time with that episode at the end.
Okay... end of rant.
